Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pendentif Allumette by Raymond Hains was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,152.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond Hains achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre, 1967 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 334,584.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pendentif Allumette von Raymond Hains kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.152,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raymond Hains erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1967 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 334.584,00.
