In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Pictures, which included the work Cambria Off Cowes, 1932 by Stewart Joyce. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 875.80) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by Stewart Joyce have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work White Heather at full pelt off Old Castle Point, Cowes was auctioned for GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,662.81).
