Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Karlie Kloss and broken Humpty Dumpty, Rye, East Sussex by Tim Walker for USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,153.65). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Tim Walker have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2016 by the work Xiao Wen Ju, Frida Gustavsson, Anaïs Pouliot & Fei Fei Sun, Comme des Garçons ‘White Drama’ Collection, London at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,748.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Karlie Kloss and broken Humpty Dumpty, Rye, East Sussex von Tim Walker für USD 13.860,00 (€ 13.153,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tim Walker wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2016 die Arbeit Xiao Wen Ju, Frida Gustavsson, Anaïs Pouliot & Fei Fei Sun, Comme des Garçons ‘White Drama’ Collection, London mit GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.748,77).
