Auction result well in line with expectations
The work CD-Scan by Tobias Madison was sold in the First Open auction at Christies in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,254.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tobias Madison - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel, which sold at auction in December 2015 for EUR 8,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit CD-Scan von Tobias Madison wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion First Open bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.254,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tobias Madison mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für EUR 8.750,00 versteigert wurde.
