The work "Cynthia Nude" by Tom Wesselmann was sold in the Contemporary auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2014. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,312.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Wesselmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Great American Nude No. 48 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 10,681,000.00 (€ 6,864,395.89).

Die Arbeit "Cynthia Nude" von Tom Wesselmann wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.312,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Wesselmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Great American Nude No. 48 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.681.000,00 (€ 6.864.395,89).
