Upper estimate price exceeded by 27 %.
The work Study for Most Beautiful Foot by Tom Wesselmann was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2001. It achieved a price of USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,066.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Wesselmann achieve.
