Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Long Long Way from Your Home by Nara Yoshitomo was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,125,000.00 (€ 329,619.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nara Yoshitomo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Knife Behind Back in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 195,969,000.00 (€ 22,398,966.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Long Long Way from Your Home von Nara Yoshitomo wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.125.000,00 (€ 329.619,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nara Yoshitomo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Knife Behind Back im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 195.969.000,00 (€ 22.398.966,83).
