Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART, which included this untitled work by Zao Wou-Ki. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 24,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,158.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zao Wou-Ki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 29.09.64. in May last year with an auction result of HKD 278,000,000.00 (€ 33,004,566.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zao Wou-Ki zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 24.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.158,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zao Wou-Ki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 29.09.64. im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 278.000.000,00 (€ 33.004.566,21).
