150 Years, Countless Images of Women: »Women and Change«
The ARKEN Museum for Moderne Kunst in Ishøj, Denmark, will focus on the changing perception of women between 5 February and 14 August 2022. The exhibition Women and Change sums up the last 150 years of art history: it highlights the differences in the representations of women and the role of gender itself.

The artist Jean-Frédéric Schnyder is one of the most important contemporary artists in Switzerland. His eye for »the beautiful in the average« will be illuminated by the Kunstmuseum Bern from 4 February - focusing on the early work of the self-taught artist. He himself selected the works for the exhibition and arranged them into an installation.
Lucian Freud's »Girl with Closed Eyes« goes on sale for the first time
A highlight from Lucian Freud's œuvre will be offered at auction for the first time: On March 1, 2022, the painting Girl with Closed Eyes will go under the hammer at Christie's in London. The painting will be shown in New York and Hong Kong before the auction between February 4 and 17, before being on view in London from February 23.
