A journey through travel memories
From the life of a traveler: In the exhibition Reise Manuskripte 1984–2025 at Galerie K, Georg Brandner is showing works of art from the last 40 years inspired by impressions and experiences from his travels. The show runs until May 2 in Kindberg, Styria.
Art event with audience award and exhibiting jury
In Trudering-Riem, a district of Munich, a special art event takes place over Easter: the Trudering Art Days, whose organizers place great value on the exchange between artists and the public. The jury members, including Mimi Mynz, are also allowed to exhibit out of competition. The vernissage will take place on April 17 at 7 pm.
Light
In Angela Wichmann's paintings, it is often deep night and yet anything but dark. Dancing lights and sparkling reflections define the setting, telling their own story, turning the canvas into their stage and themselves into the protagonists of the scene.
Inner Geometries
From April 18 to 21, London's Crypt Gallery is presenting its exhibition ARTEXPERTISE ON TOUR, including Minttu Polso, who is taking part in the Art.Salon artist program. Polso creates complex pictorial structures based on basic geometric forms.
Gabriele Weide and Chris Wehrmann at »Art Artist«
The innovative art fair Art Artist, which has been taking place since 2023, is held in parallel to Art Düsseldorf. This year, Gabriele Weide and Chris Wehrmann from the Art.Salon artist program will also be presenting some works there. Art Artist runs from April 11 to 13 also in Düsseldorf and is open from 2 pm to 10 pm.
Museums of the Ruhr region in one exhibition
21 museums are taking part in an extraordinary special exhibition that can be seen from April 11: 21 x 21. Die RuhrKunstMuseen auf dem Hügel brings together works of art from the participating museums in the Ruhr region. The exhibition will be shown at Villa Hügel in Essen and can also be explored digitally in an expanded form.
Bas Jan Ader: more than the myth

Bas Jan Ader's work is dominated by his mysterious disappearance in the Atlantic Ocean during an artist's journey in 1975. 50 years later, the Hamburger Kunsthalle is dedicating an exhibition to him from April 11: a rare opportunity to discover Ader's oeuvre on such a large scale.
