Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work „Holy Works. Pieta“. by Andres Serrano was auctioned at Grisebach in February 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 750.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andres Serrano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piss Christ in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 233,776.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit „Holy Works. Pieta“. von Andres Serrano kam im Februar 2021 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andres Serrano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piss Christ im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 233.776,85).
