Admittedly, works by Anton Henning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spiel im Gegenlicht No. 2 in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 54,000.00 (€ 80,680.81).

Die Arbeit Portrait No. 154 von Anton Henning wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.710,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Henning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spiel im Gegenlicht No. 2 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 54.000,00 (€ 80.680,81).
