The work CONNECT VI by Antony Gormley was auctioned at Phillips in London in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 20,320.00 (€ 23,333.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Gormley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Case for an Angel I in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 5,296,250.00 (€ 6,038,761.70).

Die Arbeit CONNECT VI von Antony Gormley kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 20.320,00 (€ 23.333,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antony Gormley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Case for an Angel I im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.296.250,00 (€ 6.038.761,70).
