It achieved a price of USD 21,600.00 (€ 17,491.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Admittedly, works by Chakaia Booker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yearnings Unchecked in June 2021 with an auction result of USD 94,500.00 (€ 79,760.30).
