It achieved a price of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 43,797.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chantal Joffe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Mother and Child), which sold at auction in September last year for USD 90,720.00 (€ 92,732.29).

Die Arbeit Moll in the Park von Chantal Joffe kam im Juni 2021 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 43.797,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Chantal Joffe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Mother and Child) beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für USD 90.720,00 (€ 92.732,29) versteigert wurde.
