A top price for Charles Bell - as previously expected
The work Miami Beach by Charles Bell was sold in the Contemporary Art Part I auction at Phillips in New York in November 2007. The price achieved of USD 769,000.00 (€ 523,556.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Miami Beach is the most expensive artwork by Charles Bell that we have observed at auctions so far.
