In March 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work I was dating two tauruses at the same time, they were so different (Diptych) by Chloe Wise. The »bidding war« ended at USD 94,500.00 (€ 80,473.47), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chloe Wise have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 144,900.00 (€ 135,029.35) in May last year for the work Above all things, be glad, and young, and relatively irreplaceable.
