Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast, which included the work Bronze Hourglass by Daniel Arsham. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,614.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Arsham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,312,500.00 (€ 268,207.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bronze Hourglass von Daniel Arsham zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.614,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Arsham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.312.500,00 (€ 268.207,19).
