In November 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Jeune Femme Decolletté by Édouard Manet. The »bidding war« ended at USD 519,000.00 (€ 458,359.09), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Manet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Canal à Venise in November last year with an auction result of USD 51,915,000.00 (€ 50,290,613.19).

Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeune Femme Decolletté von Édouard Manet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 519.000,00 (€ 458.359,09) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Édouard Manet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Canal à Venise im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 51.915.000,00 (€ 50.290.613,19).
