Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by George Condo was auctioned at Phillips in London in July this year. It achieved a price of GBP 35,560.00 (€ 41,487.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Condo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nude and Forms in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 6,162,500.00 (€ 5,280,634.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von George Condo kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 35.560,00 (€ 41.487,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Condo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nude and Forms im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.162.500,00 (€ 5.280.634,10).
