Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nu allongé by Georges Braque was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 73,080.00 (€ 85,052.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Braque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage À La Ciotat in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,845,000.00 (€ 12,199,722.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nu allongé von Georges Braque kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 73.080,00 (€ 85.052,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Braque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage À La Ciotat im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.845.000,00 (€ 12.199.722,82).
