A top price for Gerhard Richter
In February 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included the work Abstraktes Bild by Gerhard Richter. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 30,389,000.00 (€ 41,901,917.57), 52% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Abstraktes Bild the most expensive artwork by Gerhard Richter that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Gerhard Richter
Im Februar 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstraktes Bild von Gerhard Richter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 30.389.000,00 (€ 41.901.917,57) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Abstraktes Bild zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Gerhard Richter, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
