Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paesaggio by Giorgio Morandi was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,250.94). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio Morandi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Natura morta in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 4,332,500.00 (€ 3,712,510.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio von Giorgio Morandi kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.250,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio Morandi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Natura morta im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.332.500,00 (€ 3.712.510,71).
