Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Helmut Newton could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary, Stockholm auction, the work "Domestic Nude I, in my kitchen, Chateau Marmont, Hollywood, 1992" changed hands for SEK 250,000.00 (€ 28,057.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 300,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helmut Newton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Big Nude III" (Variation), Paris in May last year with an auction result of USD 2,340,000.00 (€ 2,180,598.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Helmut Newton konnte im November 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary, Stockholm wechselte die Arbeit "Domestic Nude I, in my kitchen, Chateau Marmont, Hollywood, 1992" für SEK 250.000,00 (€ 28.057,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Helmut Newton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Big Nude III" (Variation), Paris im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.340.000,00 (€ 2.180.598,27).
