The price achieved of EUR 50,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Michel Atlan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aboda Zara in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 249,000.00.

Die Arbeit Composition von Jean-Michel Atlan wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion L'art à fleur de peau, parcours d'une collectionneuse bei Christies versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 50.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Atlan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aboda Zara im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 249.000,00.
