Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cindy by Jenny Saville was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 608,750.00 (€ 694,094.16). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jenny Saville achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Propped in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 9,537,250.00 (€ 10,755,075.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cindy von Jenny Saville kam im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 608.750,00 (€ 694.094,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jenny Saville erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Propped im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.537.250,00 (€ 10.755.075,69).
