In February 2020 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work The Young by Jia Aili. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 855,000.00 (€ 990,946.94), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jia Aili have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).

Im Februar 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Young von Jia Aili zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 855.000,00 (€ 990.946,94) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jia Aili auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
