Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Bon Cop...De Lluna by Joan Miró. The »bidding war« ended at USD 212,500.00 (€ 178,601.45), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bon Cop...De Lluna von Joan Miró zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 178.601,45) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
