This artwork by Joan Miró achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March this year. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Le journal sold for GBP 9,450.00 (€ 10,751.20) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Miró erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit Le journal für GBP 9.450,00 (€ 10.751,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
