Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Painting by Joan Miró for GBP 236,750.00 (€ 277,447.63). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Painting von Joan Miró für GBP 236.750,00 (€ 277.447,63) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
