In May 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Lil' Keith by Keith Haring. The »bidding war« ended at USD 120,000.00 (€ 93,508.92), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).

Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lil' Keith von Keith Haring zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 93.508,92) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
