Auction result well in line with expectations
The work California 4 from Enter As Fiction by Kourtney Roy was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,205.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kourtney Roy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sorry, No Vacancy 7, which sold at auction in May 2019 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,883.58).

Die Arbeit California 4 from Enter As Fiction von Kourtney Roy kam im Oktober 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.205,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
