Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lin Jingjing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in January 2014. In the Boundless: Contemporary Art auction, the work My Promise For Your Happiness No.3 sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,081.48) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Jingjing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Promise for Your Happiness No. 8, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,534.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Jingjing erzielte im Januar 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit My Promise For Your Happiness No.3 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.081,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Jingjing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit My Promise for Your Happiness No. 8 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.534,11) versteigert wurde.
