Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Liu Ye achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2020. In the Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast auction, the work Big Flagship sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,844.77) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Ye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Smoke in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 52,182,000.00 (€ 5,964,325.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liu Ye erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast wurde die Arbeit Big Flagship für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.844,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Ye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Smoke im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.182.000,00 (€ 5.964.325,41).
