Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Auction, which included the work Sienna by Manolo Valdés. The price achieved of EUR 88,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manolo Valdés have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Infanta Margarita in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 538,602.24).
