Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le cirque dans le ciel bleu de Paris, esquisse by Marc Chagall was sold in the Oeuvres modernes sur papier auction at Christies in Paris in March 2017. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 374,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le cirque dans le ciel bleu de Paris, esquisse von Marc Chagall wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Oeuvres modernes sur papier bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 374.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
