Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art | Paris, which included the work La Dame, Le Buste, La Tête by Mario Tozzi. The price achieved of EUR 25,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Tozzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Pittore - 1931 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 153,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art | Paris durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Dame, Le Buste, La Tête von Mario Tozzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Tozzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Pittore - 1931 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 153.080,00.
