Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work untitled (Rai Uno) by Max Frintrop. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,415.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Max Frintrop - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work »Touché»., which sold at auction in November 2018 for EUR 9,675.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit untitled (Rai Uno) von Max Frintrop zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.415,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Max Frintrop mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit »Touché». beobachtet, die im November 2018 für EUR 9.675,00 versteigert wurde.
