In May 2012 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Not Pollock by Mike Bidlo. The »bidding war« ended at USD 68,500.00 (€ 55,402.78), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Bidlo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,260,000.00 (€ 1,174,168.30).

Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Not Pollock von Mike Bidlo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 55.402,78) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Bidlo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.260.000,00 (€ 1.174.168,30).
