The work “Shinju-Cat” From Zodiac Series by Miwa Komatsu was worth HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,613.72) to a buyer in October 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miwa Komatsu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 780,000.00 (€ 796,532.61).

Die Arbeit “Shinju-Cat” From Zodiac Series von Miwa Komatsu war einem Käufer im Oktober 2020 HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.613,72) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: A Moveable Feast bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miwa Komatsu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 780.000,00 (€ 796.532,61).
