Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included the work Unique folding table, from a private commission, Copenhagen by Mogens Koch. It changed hands for a price of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,189.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mogens Koch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pair of easy chairs and ottoman, from a private commission, Copenhagen, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,973.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unique folding table, from a private commission, Copenhagen von Mogens Koch zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.189,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mogens Koch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pair of easy chairs and ottoman, from a private commission, Copenhagen beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.973,73) versteigert wurde.
