Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Moïse Kisling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in October last year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Jeune femme assise se coiffant sold for GBP 107,100.00 (€ 124,770.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moïse Kisling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moïse Kisling erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Jeune femme assise se coiffant für GBP 107.100,00 (€ 124.770,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
