This work of art by Nick Lowe could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Afternoon Sale auction, the work Wild Oak changed hands for USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,816.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Nick Lowe have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2007 by the work Baghdaddy Kane at USD 28,000.00 (€ 19,063.18).
