This artwork by Olivier Mosset achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in October 2020. In the Contemporary Art | Paris auction, the work without title sold for EUR 21,420.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Olivier Mosset have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 123,035.47).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Olivier Mosset erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | Paris wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 21.420,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olivier Mosset auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 123.035,47).
