Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in London held the auction 20th Century Evening Sale, which included the work Nu couché by Pablo Picasso. The price achieved of USD 13,635,000.00 (€ 12,500,000.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000,000.00 – 15,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
