Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tête De Femme by Pablo Picasso was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2012. The price achieved of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 65,969.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
