This artwork by Raoul Ubac achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in November 2021. In the Photographies auction, the work La Nébuleuse, 1939 sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raoul Ubac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Triomphe De La Stérilité Ou Penthesilée in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 80,645.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raoul Ubac erzielte im November 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographies wurde die Arbeit La Nébuleuse, 1939 für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raoul Ubac auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Triomphe De La Stérilité Ou Penthesilée im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 80.645,16).
