Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Neptune by Salvador Dalí was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 329,000.00 (€ 453,642.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvador Dalí achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Paul Éluard in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 13,481,250.00 (€ 15,879,784.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Neptune von Salvador Dalí kam im Februar 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 329.000,00 (€ 453.642,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvador Dalí erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Paul Éluard im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.481.250,00 (€ 15.879.784,58).
