In June 2015 VAN HAM held the auction ACHENBACH Art Auction, which included the work Spur II (8 Blätter aus einer Mappe mit 9 Arbeiten) by Joseph Beuys. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,413.00 74% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Beuys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zeitpunkt: Das Massaker von Muenchen (Point of time: The Massacre of Munich) in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 854,500.00 (€ 1,094,936.23).
Schätzpreis um 74 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte VAN HAM die Auktion ACHENBACH Art Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spur II (8 Blätter aus einer Mappe mit 9 Arbeiten) von Joseph Beuys zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.413,00 und damit 74% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Beuys erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zeitpunkt: Das Massaker von Muenchen (Point of time: The Massacre of Munich) im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 854.500,00 (€ 1.094.936,23).
