Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Auction, which included the work European Myth by Tony Cragg. The price achieved of EUR 37,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Cragg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Constant Change in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 849,062.00 (€ 984,851.03).
